Default New Owner/Maxum 2300sc

HI, I'm a new member and a first time boat owner. I was wondering if there are certain things I should pay attention to regarding my Maxum.
Its' a 1999 Maxum 2300sc, 5L mercruiser, cuddy cabin, alpha one outdrive, had the gimbal and the bellows replaced last season.

Aquaman.....welcome to the zoo....the first thing I'd be looking at is an oil change..tune up...belts....and the most important is the impeller...it's easy to replace....and it's one of the one things that seems to go out no matter what you do with the boat....it will fail when you least expect it....

the other things to look at is how the boat was used....if in fresh water..the manifolds will last forever...if it was used in saltwater..then they have a finite life time...which is dependant on how well it was flushed after each use in the salt........look at those two items...since you haven't told us where your boat has spent it's life..it's hard to offer advice...
finally...if it's trailered..then obviously the hull will be clean...if not and it's left in the water....you need to pull the boat and clean and wax the hull...

this is just a few items I'd be looking at....

Thanks for the advice. I'm in Seattle, and the previous owner had it in the Sound, but I have it on a trailer and plan to spend most of my time in fresh water.
