Dear all ,
I am in bad need for your help , the motor for my boat is volvo penta diesel 260 HP . It has a major mulfunction and i need to buy a new motor for my boat i need your suggeations and from where to buy ?
The boat is in Egypt so i will have to ship the motor

Most with this size boat have a gas engine so not sure if you’ll get many suggestions. Have you considered rebuilding the diesel? What the issue with it? Diesels are typically good for 3000+ hours so I find it interesting it needs replacement.

It'll need to be another Volvo-Penta, unless you're willing to swap out the transom assembly and outdrive as well. Otherwise, Yanmar makes a direct replacement for a 454, with a transom assembly and outdrive.

I would start with any Volvo dealers in the area. Then I would look to the closest company that will ship a crated Volvo to Egypt.
