Default New member/advice

Hi Everyone

My name is Joe and just bought my first boat a 2001 3300 SCR. Got it from a repo dealer in pretty good condition, just needs some lower unit and interior work. Any tips or advice for a newbie would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know the size of the refrigerator on this model? The boat did not come with a fridge and I would like to replace it. Are they hard to install? Thanks for all the help in advance.

Welcome aboard

Your first boat but do you have boat knowledge?

Inspect bellows, raw water impeller, exhaust to ensure good as these are the typical maintance issue that can result in big $'s is ignored.

Frig will be easy to install and should be dual volt, 12 V DC and 110 AC.

Plenty of folks here with your model that will chime in.

Compression test on engines. If it has outdrives, pressure tests on them is a good idea. Hull test.
