Throttle Linkage for a water intrusion problem??? I'll have to go back and look at my throttle linkage again. I thought I had a waterless throttle linkage system. Maybe the OP's system is different.

It would be real easy to sink 5 grand into it so take baby steps. Take it to a good mechanic for an evaluation if you are uncomfortable performing mmwjr's advice.

For $400 you did get a great deal. The trailer alone is probably worth $400. Do what the others are suggesting and cross your fingers.
