Default New for me 2002 2300 SR

I just purchased a 2002 Maxum 2300sr. So far I love the boat but it came with a few things not working that I am hoping to fix

1. The tachometer doesn't work, but the boat hrs in the same gauge does. I am having troubling finding the same style gauge and am waiting a reply from Faria.

2. The speedometer isn't working and I ordered a new one so let's see how that goes.

3. My fuse block is a mess so I will be re wiring that, does anyone have a wiring diagram for the boat, I don't not have the original manual

4. The small head no longer has a toilet and I am hoping to put one back in, where can I get an oem toilet?

5. I am looking for an all in one, GPS, chartplotter, fish finder if anyone has recommendation.

6. Can I put a Bimini on the bow to give that area some shade?

All in all a beautifal 1st boat , just need to work out some kinks.

Thanks

Welcome aboard!

1. Are you sure it’s the tach? Does it read anything? Try cleaning the wires on the back of it.

2. Are you sure it’s the gauge and not that the tube is off at the drive?

4. Most likely it was a Jabsco.

The tach doesn't read anything, just shows the hours. I used electrowash and tried to clean the connection as best I can.

It can very well be the tube. Didn't think about that. My next day off ill investigate more

Using a DVM, digital voltmeter measure the tach sense terminal to see if there is a voltage. The meter will integrate the pulses and produce a low DC voltage.

Is there a holding tank? Are there hoses still run into the head? The head would have either been a porta pottie or a Jabsco Compact Manual Flush.
