Default New canvas for '98 2700SCR?

I need to replace the canvas/isinglass on my 98 2700SCR. Any idea what I can expect for cost? I tried Leta's but they said that there was no stock canvas for my boat and I must have a custom camper. They would not be able to offer a replacement. Anyone else to try before contacting my local canvas shop?

I believe I spoke to Leta. This was a few months ago when I was doing some preliminary research. She requested my hull ID and said there were no patterns available. I am wondering if I sender her my top, could she copy it. I will give them a call again.

I think if you do send the top..she can copy it..after all..it's a normal 2800 scr...they made a ton of them...but she's really reasonable and good...

let me know if I can be of some help since I'm not far from her..

SP :hello:

I ordered my new top from Leta's Top Shop today. I am excited to see how it looks. She saved me a great deal over my local canvas shop. Thanks Seapuppy for the reference. I will post a followup in a couple of weeks.

I received my canvas from Leta. I looks really nice. The quality looks very good. It is better built/sewn than what I have on there now. I have not had a chance to fit it yet. I will put it on this weekend.

One question I had was with a roll of 1 1/2" wide gray weather strip it came with. Leta said it was for between the canvas and the radar arch. She said put the snaps through it. Does anyone have a picture of this? Any suggestions on best way to install? Any tricks? The included instructions could be better. I sure hope it all fits.

I just got mine last week from Leta's too. My original has this on there so if no one has it to send, I'll take a pic when I o back to the lake this weekend. From what I can see, it just peel & sticks on to the underside of the canvas where it attaches to the radar arch.
