Default Need ideas for boat support for winter cover

Hello,

Picked up a 2001 Maxum SCR 2500 in July and the boat came with a nice canvas winter storage cover with built in vents that at the bottom of the boat I then use ratchet straps to tighten it up. The issue I don't know is how to support it properly so no water or snow gets stuck up on the bow for the winter. Any suggestions for support for the bow specifically? Do they sell adjustable type stands or something that can go on the bow? Just looking for the best option. This cover is nice and costs over $500 new I should use it.

Pictures would be great too if you have suggestions.

Thank you everyone!

Pick up an adjustable pole for the bow. Have a towel or Terry cloth shop rags put on both ends of the pole and that should do the trick. I know that Overton's carries these.

Thanks Roger,

It just seems like the bow distance is too long for just one pole. Do you think one will do it?

Capt... I guess use your judgement on this one . Buy two and see what works. I'm trying to use the Kiss theory here. Make a Pvc frame might work also, might be a lot of work too ...
