Default Nav Light Switch Wiring - Maxum 2800SCR

I'm looking to wire up my Nav Light Switch, not sure the original owner had it wired correctly.

Does anyone have wiring diagram for this 7 pin switch.

I have a black wire which is the ground, believe this should be connected to pin 7.

Two blues wires with +12V on them going to pins 2 & 5.

Then I have a white wire plus a white/blue stripe wire that I’m unsure which pins to wire to.

Hope you can help, see pictures of the switch and wires in the helm console.

Is this switch for nav lights only or is it a on off on for nav lights and anchor light?
Use an ohm meter and ck to see what happens when you activate the switch, then make a diagram of what pins are connected.
Good luck.

Go to Documents on this site/Maxum Boats/By Year/2000/

there is a manual for 2400/2800/3000/3200 which has the wiring diagram you need.

Thx for your reply, I have a separate Anchor Light Switch, the Nav Light switch is On/On DPDT, I'm thinking my white wires go to pins 3 & 6. One should put 12 volts to the illuminated part of the switch, the double white wire will put live feed to both Nav lights.

When the Nav Light switch is on, both the Red/Green nav lights AND the anchor light come on. When the Anchor light switch is thrown, just the anchor light is on.

Take the entire panel off and trace back the wires, it should make more sense

One pair (Ground and Positive) to anchor light.
One pair (Ground and Positive) should connect to the output side of the anchor light.

The fifth looks like another ground. It could be to light the anchor light switch. When the Nav switch is thrown, the anchor light switch should light, even if the switch itself isn't thrown.

Thx Shrew, with the wires disconnected from the Nav switch as shown in photo, I can flick the Anc Switch and the Anchor light comes on.

Will try reconnecting the Nav switch this weekend.

Correct. Anchor light works when EITHER the Anchor switch is thrown OR the Nav Switch is thrown. Nav and Anchor are both lit when the Nav lights are thrown.
