Default My B-day Bash

I have to give all this credit to my admirable...she planned everything and made this one of the most memorable b-day's I've had in yrs..

it kinda started last weekend when we were trying to decide about what to do this weekend....well...as it turned out she'd planned a surprise b-day for me....she invited one of my all time best friends that I used to work with at the bomber factory and his wife....she also invited a bunch of other folks and friends....ie..puget mike and his lovely wife virginia.....tony and tess...2 pillipino friends that are just insane and great to be with.....Bruce and Carolyn who just sold their boat "Stardust"....so are boatless....Rhianna...a lovely young lady that I used to work with and is a sweet girl........

John and his wife had to leave early but the rest of us ran to our new boat and I prepped her to get underway...Puget mike grabbed some of his pfd's for everyone....we undocked and went out into the middle of the sound between Everett and Gedney island..or what us local's call..hat island.....I had about 9 people and 2 dogs on the new aboat and she just popped up on plane and did about 30 mph with no issues and cruised a couple of miles...we had a party boat going on but the real star's were the Grey whales that were feeding around us.....I don't know how many we saw but we had about 4-5 on the bow as I idled along close enough to see the blow's and watch them deep dive down to the bottom to feed...

we came back to a spectacular sunset and it was just a breath taking evening....everyone had a great time and I truly do appreciate everyone that came out to help us celebrate my 57th b-day...which is tuesday but we all work......so we decided to have an early time of it...

I want to thank everyone that came out and joined us...

here's a few pic's

Happy (belated) Birthday. Mine is May 1st. I'll have a cocktail for you on friday :hello:

Congrats on the new boat. I grew up on Bayliners and they're great boats. Although I have to point out the irony of running the "Maxum Owners Club" website while now owning a Bayliner. I hope this site doesn't die as a result of the new "Bayliner Owners Club".
