Hey folks. I have a 1900 SR. Be easy with me, it's my first boat and I am learning as I go.
I'm trying to deep clean the interior and while I was rinsing down the interior I pulled up the hatch and saw pooled water in the hull. The drain in the back of the boat is open and water is coming out slowly.
I'm sure I need to clean out the drain in the back because of all the dirt and debris in the boat but where are the other drain holes to clean to ensure water is flowing properly out of the back.
That would be the ski locker. Its drain typically goes to a thru hull on the side of the boat. Ways to unclog it include using a hose to push water from the outside thru hull to pushing an electricians pull tape through it. I have a high school friend who is in AA county off of Mountain Road. The loss of the bridge sure makes it harder getting there.
The ski locker on that boat drains into the bilge thru a small drain hole at the back of the compartment. It will drain slow even if clear. Stick your head down there and look to the stern to see the hole. My first Maxum was a 1900 SR! Other compartments (like the glove box, bow storage, etc. will drain via thru-hull drains. You can see those on the outside of the hull above water level.

I'm not far from that location. Thank you for the suggestions!
Go to an orange or blue big box supply store and start with a Flexi drain weasel. A lot of those glogs are right where dirt accumulates right in the first 6-10 inches. Once that is done try a garden hose.
