A local marine upholster can make new carpet.

Default Carpet

Mine is already one piece. I was hoping to not have to make a template. I heard there is a company that makes carpet for specific makes and models. Tell them the make and model and they have it. What was the cost? I f you don't mind my asking.

I found a place 90 miles away called Lakeside Yacht. They told me 2-3 weeks. It took 4 weeks to get the carpet and I'm still waiting for them to make it up. This is going on 7 weeks and all I get is excuses. Last was problems due to flooding. I finally told them I am a customer to. Still waiting. I would cancel the order if I knew somewhere I could order to fit. $664.00

This is the boating industry and its July. No offense, but the carpet probably needed to be replaced last season as well. These marine businesses are essentially sitting on their hands 6 months of the year, then working 70+ hr work weeks for the other 6 months.

Guess which set of 6 months you're in right now?? I would suggest lining this type of work up over the winter. Otherwise you're in line with everyone else who waited until launch time to arrange work to be done.

I agree, but I just bought this boat in April. I contacted these people as they made my last two carpets and I sent them two other people before. They told me about 2 weeks to get the carpet and a week at the most to cut and seam it. The carpet took 3 weeks, which is no fault, but they had it for going on 3 weeks and don't even bother returning calls. That's Bad Business.
