Default Maxum Fold Down table?

A friend is buying the same boat as me, just a year older and it is an open bow not a cuddy. 1999 Maxum 1900 SR3.

The place selling it took it as a trade and they forgot to remove plug and recover it after they took pictures to sell it. The bildge had a lot of water in it and the fold down table was no longer a table, but a sponge. I am wondering has anyone else had this problem with the table? It looks like it might have been made out of OSB, so we might just get some marine grade plywood and rebuild it.

I would be more concerned that the high water got to the engine starter which will cause it to fail if it has nonyet done so.

Not surprised the table did that, yep rebuild with marine plywood or starboard.
