maxum beeps

I was told there is a sight on the internet I can go to and find out what what different alert sounds (beeps) mean. I found out, as I already new, that a constant sound means problem needs taken care of immediately. I also found that 3 beeps about every minute or so, meant that there is a problem and will need attention. That was my Idle Air Valve. Any one know where I can find this information? I just heard 4 beeps yesterday, but it quit.

I forgot. I have a 3100scr with twin 5.0 Lt engines.

You heard correctly. In fact, I did a search on "Mercruiser Beep Codes" and this was returned:

The beep codes are listed by Engine Model and Year. Specs like EFI or Carb and type of carb also need to be noted.
