Maxum 1800 SR Cockpit Switches

The dash on my Maxum 1800 SR has several switches. One is labeled ACCY and another is labeled ANC which I assume mean “Accessory” and “Anchor”. On my boat, these switches don’t seem to do anything. Is it normal for these to not be connected? Thanks in advance.

ACC is for extras that owners would like to install. Normally not connected to anything from the factory. The ANC on the other hand should turn on the white all-around stern light.

Thank you jparsons121, this makes perfect sense, I'll check the stern light. The switch didn't seem to do anything and wouldn't if I didn't have the stern light in place. I haven't used the lights much and for some reason thought that the stern light came on with the Nav switch. Thanks again.

The Anchor light turns on the all around white light only. You would use this if anchored at night.

The Navigation Lights turn on the all around white light AND the red and green navigation lights. You would use this if you are operating at night.
