Maxum 1700

Hi, I'm new in this forum. I just bought a Maxum 1700 (??) Outboarder with a small cabin in the bow. The boat was built in 1998, at least the number says this. I have no documents with the boat. I'am looking for the original Manual, spare part list, links and all information available to this boot. May be somebody has experience with the Maxum 1700 and could share it, espacially weak points.
I would be very thankful for every information to this boat. Also it would be good to know adresses where I could ask for support spare parts on Maxum boats.

Welcome aboard

Under Documents of this site there is a manual for a 1996 which is probably close enough as the owners manuals don't have much detail. Most parts are non-Maxum made as with all boats. Most important will be to get a manual for whatever outboard you have.

Thanks Mike, Motor is no Problem. I've got the Manual. With the boat it's a bit tricky. In the dam I want to use it in Germany they ask for all kinds of Paper. And that's the problem. The boat was swimming in Germany for many years, probably from the beginning. But the documents got lost and now I was ask to deliver them. German authorities!

So if something available to the boat (Maxum 1700) from 98 would be great.

Mike, I have been on this site but no luck. They say:
