Smile Manual and Fridge

Hello all! We are new to us, Maxum boat owners. I just purchased a 1998 2300SC Maxum (with only 200 hours!) in fantastic condition. I am currently looking for an owner's manual or some help with the fridge. It would sure be handy if I could figure out how to make it work Not sure if the fridge is bad or if it's not hooked up.

Welcome aboard!

Don’t think the Maxum manual will help as it doesn’t have that much detail.

Thanks! I was hoping it would at least show what a couple of the switches inside the Cuddy are.

The manual you're looking for would be the manual to the fridge itself. I suspect you have a Norcold. The Boat manual doesn't detail the individual components, which are all third party.

The fridge should be dual voltage. There should be a breaker on the panel to turn on the 120VAC. This would require that shore power be connected. The battery switch will need to be turned on for 12VDC. Both require that the internal switch in the fridge be turned on.

There is also a breaker on the back of the fridge itself.
