Default Lounge seat slider/rails

So does anyone have and suggestions as a replacement for the factory seat rail slider things? I still like the concept of the seats folding down to a lounge and id like to keep that. I could fix what's already there but im wondering if there is a simpler solution to this. Something like a metal seat rail I can buy? Or another way to make this work. Appreciate the input/ideas from anyone on this.

Replace the whole seat including the box under it? That whole deal is not terribly expensive at $259 (in 2022 boat dollars that's like one full tank of fuel for a runabout lol)

I have seen these throughout my searching but buy the time you convert to AUD and then have them shipped over here, I couldn't see much change out of $1000 AUD. Is the seat rail design on these new ones the same concept as the old ones? Or would anyone be able to post a picture of the seat rail sliders so I can see what I can work out over here in Australia.

Oh wow I didn't know you were all the way in Australia. Can't help you on pics since my boats don't have that same type of seat. The Wellcraft Eclipse 233 I used to own had one like that, but I've no pics of it unfortunately.

Here's a novel lounge seat that seems fairly simple but ingenious...
