Default Loose Bow Eye

Hi All, new here. Need help locating the right place to install access plate to access bow eye. I have a 1800 SR3 and need to fix the loose bow eye. Looking to find the right place to drill hole. Thanks in advance for any help.

I wouldn't expect that you would need to drill a hole. Have you tried removing the forward cushions to see if there is access behind them?

Can you see and reach forward through the storage in the forward seats?
