Default Keel guard

looks like the gel coat came off my keel.

anyone have experience with a Keel Guard?

any suggestions for this?

I think either way will work but then again to be on the safe side I would put a thin coat of something epoxy based over the bare part of the keel. Then sand it....Then stick your keel guard on.

I don't remember the brand but they are all pretty much the same. It's more about the install I would not bother repairing the damage since you will never take the keel guard off once you install it.
