Hello Just a quick hello
My wife and I just bought a 2300sr yr 2000. Very nice boat. Few things need done. Seems to have a leak somewhere from the reserve gear oil reservoir.

Welcome aboard!

Try looking at the fitting where the gear lube line connects to the transom assembly, common failure at this point.

Thank you, will look at the line and see if that’s were it’s leaking. It’s definitely not leaking in the engine bay

Then the leak is either the lube hose on the outside part of the transom assembly or a bad seal in the outdrive.
