well geez dude...might wanna introduce yourself first...we're a friendly bunch .....as for price of the boat...it really depends on a bunch of options...like radar....vacuflush....ac/heat.....fishfinders...radio's....condition of boat...best thing I can tell you before you even THINK of making an offer is get it surveyed....prices really depend mainly on that survey....if there is anything wrong with it...you can dicker on the price using the repairs....

lets face it...to give you a price on an unknown boat is really hard to do without knowing everything about the boat from the top down.....or bottom up.....all options....condition of interior and tops....rugs...vinyl seats....fiberglass...engines/drives....etc....sorry I can't help out but another thing to try is to go to bluebook.com....marine....that will give you retail blue book....

sorry can't be more specific but your just asking an impossible task.....go to www.yachtworld.com and look for similar boats in your area....

SP..

oh...welcome to the zoo...

:hello:

well...jim...welcome to the zoo...it's good to be in love...that makes boating a bit more fun....now ...for your info...don't be afraid to offer less....it's a buyers market right now and 60k is just a starting place....so.....get it inspected by a qualified surveyor....have him work for you and adjust the price or dicker for the repairs....sounds like a good buy at 60..but you definitely have wiggle room...you could feasably offer 40k for it and meet somewhere in the middle....slow down..take a deep breath and then go back and look at it...

Wow, I wish I had waited 18 months to buy my boat. $60K sounds like a steal if the boat is in good condition.

First post here, as I haven't seen much discussion on the 3100's.

I have an '04 3100SE and love it. You should be able to top out in the low 40's. I prefer to keep the RPMs down a bit, as it's more fuel efficient in the 30mph range.

It rides through chop well, but you'll encounter some spray off the bow in rough conditions at higher speeds.

I did add an extended swim platform from www.swimplatforms.com. In fact, the 3100SE in their gallery is my boat. Was well worth the money spent.

$60k seems like a great buy, as these boats were going for much higher last year. I think you'll be happy with it.
