that's cool...as the story goes....Ray worked for Boeing back then and was in charge of the Boeing built and designed Hydrofoil ship back in the 80's for the US Navy...he modified his bayliner to add the fwd foil and the aft foil along with the jet drive to power it....that sea trail is actually in Lake Stevens Wa. not far from me...and it was quite successful....the problem with the actual boat was they tried to build as they would an airplane....not the same spec's and design methods....so....boeing didn't get the contract to build the hydrofoil.....


that's what we heard out here....plus I know one of the guys that used to work with ray....
