Default Hull graphics Q?

On my Maxum as well as the bold stripe, it has the SR3 decal, which is a bit like a few swirls or arrow heads joined together ... and it looks good.

However on one side of hull the very leading edge of the graphic has started to lift, about 1/2" of it is sticking up ...
Anybody know what glue is the best to stick this back down ?

Picture of it can be seen here:

I want to fix it before more comes off, or it tears.

how bout taking it off and replacing with a new one...I've found that when they start to come up...no glue will work for long....

as it's only 1/2" tip of a full length graphic seems a waste to trash it. ..... assume they must have a glue when new just need to know what it is.

well...I'd try that 3m glue...that might work....apply it..let it get tacky..and then tape it down for a bit...

Q here .... the 3M spary on glue is an 'interior adhesive', and holding on a hull graphic that is thrashed by saltwater is about as non-interior as you can get :-)

Correct fix would be to use a clear (gloss) polyurethane. This is known as 'edge seal' in the sign/graphics industry. You can usually find small quantity containers of poly in paint/hardware stores.

You would need to use your best 'Da Vinci' impression and try to rig a method to apply pressure to the decal whilst the poly dries. Amazing what you can engineer with a few popsicle sticks and duct tape.

It would hold up the best given the situation.

OK ... here is a 'thought' I have can of the clear spray that you put over the black paint when you touch up scratches on outdrive leg ... is that the same stuff, it's a spray on clear product ?
