You just need one of these.

Hi Pilot2023. Welcome to the site!! You should have two u-bolts on your transom.

There is one on each side and are most likely below the swim platform. You need a towing harness

http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?...0454&id=861461

The spring clips connect to the u-bolts, the tow line itself will connect to the piece in the center of the harness. There are a wide variety of tow lines and towing harnesses to choose from.

Take a look at the following retailers:

www.defender.com
www.westmarine.com
www.overtons.com

Overtons seems to have the largest selection of skiing and towing merchandise out there. That is probably where I would start looking.

Best of luck. Remember to have a dedicated spotter, even if one is not required in your state (though they are in most).

Attaching that to the two u-bolts on the transom, below the swimstep and below the water line seems a bit to close for comfort to the drive. Hmmm. You got me thinking though, so I'll take a look next time I am at the boat.

You can always stop the boat and shut off the engine first. After all, at some point the skier/wakeboarder/tuber is going to HAVE to get into the water. Then at some point, they are going to need to get back out again.
