How to remove seats ?? 2800 SCR

Hey Guys:
I have a 2800 SCR, those of you with the same boat know the deck / salon area has base cushions that are easily removed, but the back rests are installed very solid. How the heck do you remove them? no access from underneath?? Help.

There are no seats on the Deck. There are seats at the Settee down below in the Salon, and there is seating out back in the Cockpit. Are you referring to the settee seating down below in the salon?

The seats I'm speaking of are in the very rear of boat as you enter off the swim step. There is a seat back approx 8" tall that wraps from behind the helm down the starboard side and across the back.
It is mounted some way ? But I don't see any brackets or access?
Hate to take a razor knife to the cushions ??

Most are screwed in from the back......which in most cases they are unreachable. ..so hack saw or a saw saw...might be an option.

What year is the 2800?

Those back rests are mounted on brackets......Pull straight up on the backrest it just hangs on the brackets. I just did mine this winter.

I have the same issue with my 1996 2300SCR. Looks like only one bolt on the end and a bracket in the middle. There are on solid!! Any other suggestions?

hwyltg is correct. My 2005 2900 seat back hangs on the brackets. Pull straight up.
