Default How often does this happen?

I pulled up to the Marina as the sun was going down and we started to close the boat up. While we were doing that a guy walking across the dock started to crack and he mentioned that the boat next to us was registered only 24 boats after us. Look to the side and see another Teal Maxum runabout docked next to us. I inspected the boat it was a couple feet longer and was an open bow. Click image for larger version

Did the dealer you bought the boat from handle the registration?? I was riding my street plated dirtbike in the woods about 65+ miles from the city I registered it in. (I registered it at city hall myself). The guy I ran into was within 30 number of my plate. Completely different make/model bikes. So, sure it happens. The fact that it was the same make and in the same marina is incredibly rare. Time to play teh numbers in the lotter.
