Default How do I turn on the Water to Sink/Toilet?

Hello,
I just recently purchased my first boat which is a 92 Maxum 2300 SCR and I have a question. I was told that there is a switch that will allow me to turn on the water to the sink located by the refridgerator and one for the sink/toilet in the head. Probably is I do know where to look or what to do to turn it on. Do i have to have the boat running in order for it to work or Can I just hook up a shoreline to provide power to test it?

Any assistance as to location and operation would be greatly appreciated.

Probably a stupid question I know...lol!

Mine is a red switch that glows when powered on. Look just below the counter top near the sink.

dwelch8 welcome aboard.

As Phillbo stated there should be a red rocker switch near the galley for the sink and another in the head compartment for it's.

Is you head vacumn flush? If not then it may just use raw water and you will need to open a seacock in the engine compartment.

You'll hear the water pressurization pump go Grrrrrr when you find the right switch.
