Default Help!

Can anybody tellme where I can get a replacement cap for a drive oil reservoir on a 1999 Maxum 1900sr? I'm not sure how, or why, but mine is gone. I went to change the outdrive oil and I saw it is gone. Plenty of oil in it and none on the engine from last summer where it would have spewed out. Its not anywhere in the engine compartment, or the boat. I guess someone needed it more than i did.
Anyway, the boat has a 5.0L with an alpha drive. Any help is appreciated. I do not have a compatible boat shop for maxum replacement parts within 2 hours.

I figured that would not be a hard find.... not like it's a rare part, just about any marina or marine mechanic would have one laying around.

I dropped mine in the bilge one summer and couldn't find it. Called a bunch of places yet no one had one. Thought it was buried under the engine. A telescoping mirror and flashlight found it hiding under the trim pump platform.

Yeah, that is a very common part that is not specific to Maxum. Every boat with a Mercruiser engine has one of these on it.
I always use BAM Marine for my parts lookup here:

Here is a place that has the cap in stock should anyone need one in the future (there are probably many others that stock it too so this is just for reference):

Thanks everyone. I looked all over and under and around and...well you get the idea. It is gone. I thought I'd find it laying under the motor but no dice. Thanks for links mcoffey.
