Default Head mods

I have the standard shower/faucet assembly in my head...I've added an extra curtain in the aft part to keep the toilet and the shelf that it sits on from water....but....I'm thinking of adding a dedicated shower head instead of pulling that hose out...sticking it onto the shower head holder thingy....

anyone ever done something like this to your head???...I guess I'll go this weekend and see what home despot has....I need 2ea 90* elbows..piece of straight pipe and then the shower head...I need a valve to shut the shower head off..and then mounts to hold it to the bulkhead...and a TEE fitting.......

I know it won't be all that much..but just a pain to get it all installed...anyone else try this??

Well Steve, I have not done this exact project, but it could not be any more tricky than when you installed the bidet on your boat. By the way, you really need to consider linking the water supply to the bidet to your water heater. It was way toooooo cold last time I used it.

Here is a set of Quick Connects from Whale:

That should get you most of the connection hardware. However I didn't see anything on the whale website that looks like they had a mixing valve/shower head only. Everything looks like the combo sink basin faucet/shower combo. You would need a seperate mixing valve to handle the showerhead.
