Default Head issue

Hello all, Does anyone know if there is a check valve between the toilet and the waste tank to stop the water from flowing backwards from the tank. I noticed yesterday when I got to the boat the bowl was filled up close to the top so I flushed it and about 5 minutes later it was full again not overflowing but filling up close. I replaced the jabsco electric pump back during the summer and it's been working fine up till yesterday

Your joker valve is bad. Google jabsco and they have blow-ups of your model and you will see where this valve is. It is an easy job , little messy and depending space, is tight.

Now is your holding tank full?

Good luck

Roger

I'm sorry Roger I checked the tank not the Joker valve, now that I've seen the picture of it after you said that that's probably the issue. When I replaced the pump that was real hard and crusty so I cleaned it not knowing what it did it held up for about two months and is now failing. I will replace it this weekend and let you know.
Thanks again.

Good idea to replace before every season.
