Default Fuel Pump

Fuel Pump went bad. Can't believe I have to have engine lifted to replace water cooled high pressure pump. Break Out Another Thousand

Mercruiser cool fuel has had several issue including access, cooling leaks and pump issues.

It’s a fairly big unit which would make it prohibited for a higher insulation for boat builders for one. I believe it’s located under the starboard exhaust manifold. Many have replaced it without pulling the engine but I guess it’s boat dependent.
