Default Fuel gauge issues

I'm new to the site, I have 1999 1800SR. This year I have has something weird start. If the boat is out of water (flushing the engine) the gauge works perfect. If it is in the water, gauge does not register at all.

Welcome aboard

Next time it's not working remove the sense wire from the sender on the gas tank and touch it to the ground wire. If the gauge is good it will read full and the sender is the issue.

I will definitely give that a try, Also have other gauges not working. Trim and RPM, any ideas?

First check the connections on the back of the gauges.

Trim gauge not working is most commonly caused by broken wires on the trim limit switch which is on the side of the gimbal ring of the outer transom assembly.

Tach may be just broke.
