Our Norcold DE541 has given up the ghost and our HVAC tech has advised us to replace it. What AC/DC frigs have others used that fit in the existing cut out since Norcold doesn't make this model any longer? Thanks for all your help.

I do believe "nevercold" still has a model that fits your opening, just not sure of #.......I went with a vetrifigo fridge. I love it super quiet, large capacity, light inside.......not the cheapest...

A friend of mine went with a Tundra brand. He got it on Ebay. More $$$ and little adjusting for installation but he likes.

Thanks for the info! Am looking at 3 different brands - Vitrifrigo, Tundra and Dometic. Will be attending the Toronto International Boat show soon and hope to see all three there. Not sure want to go back to Norcold given the unfavorable reviews online.

Replaced mine with a Norcold DE-0041 about a year ago. $904 including tax from West Marine. Works great.
