Default FNG AKA F*****g new guy

New maxum boat owner here. I have owned boats and jet skis for a long time. This is my first Maxum. its a 2000 2300SR open bow with a 7.4 Merc Bravo III combo. Thought I would introduce myself.

I put the asterics in myself. I am in Southern california. Electrician by trade. I do a lot of controls for different types of systems like Fire/life safety for high rise buildings and hospitals. I also do regular electrical CCTV pretty much anything electrical.
The boats I owned before were a 89 bayliner capri 19 foot with a 5.0 v8 and a bunch of jet skis ranging from a stand up custom built by yours truly 550 to a 1100 yamaha waveraider with a triple pipe 1200 CC yamaha motor that was just insanely fast in a straight line.
I am still learning my 2300 maxum and its systems. overall it seems to be a decent boat after some expensive repairs. I recently took it to Catalina to do some fishing and it was a nice ride there.

jetskis. before i sold them.

Thanks
The Sea Doo was my wifes and it was all stock. The Raider was mine. Ended up selling the skis cause we just sort of stopped using them as we got more into boating and spending time together. The skis were fun but there was no together time

My wife and I bought a new Kawasaki STX-15F last year for our wedding anniversary and we love it. Cheaper to put gas in the jet ski than the 3000SCR......
