Default Floor Carpet, 1992 Maxum 2300 SC

Question I have is: Where can I find the precut, molded floor carpet for the seating areas. There are push down clips on the floor where they are suppose to be and obviously my boat does not have them and want to put them back in and on. Is there a source to purchase them ready to go or do I have to cut and make my own?

I am getting the 'snap-in' carpet replaced on my 95 2300SC in a couple of weeks. I checked with the local dealer, yes, you can still order the factory carpet. For a price ($$). I am getting a custom install from a local boat/auto upolstry shop for less than half the OEM cost. I'm also getting it customized as the factory carpet 'covers' the ski locker, giving me access without having to un-snap the carpet.

I would ask around for referals to a local shop.

Steve,
Boat is a Maxum 2300 SC - there is a Searay manufacturing plant in Knoxville so I may be able to get their help but I know of no Maxum dealer - just Searay. Your source may be a good fit - please post when you have a chance. Thanks - Scott

Working on a couple of sources still - have not had much time to get to it. Wife stated last week she may not want it now, so once I have some direction from her, I'll make some time. One is in Knoxville, American Boat Center - and the other was a source I picked up fom this forum. No prices yet.

I requested a quote and some samples from snapincarpets.com

They sent me both berber and a cut pile sample (serged). Good looking carpet. Quote was $550 for both, did not include shipping.

I'm getting mine replaced locally and it will be custom fitted to the boat. My old carpet has shrunk in a few places and getting one made only using the old as the only template had me concerned about fit.

Oh ya, and for half the cost.
