Hello all, I have just purchased my first boat, a 1992 1700 XR with a force 70. Although I grew up on boats and all of my friends own boats, I am not sure what to expect as captain. I guess what i am looking for is some pointers on what to expect. Also wanted to say hello to all on the forum!

You will learn quickly that you either love it or hate it. Stay on top of your maintenance, obey the rules of the road, understand that BOAT is just an acronym for Break Out Another Thousand, and you should have years of enjoyment!
