finally the boat maybe sold

After a year on the market and 1 failed sale the boat looks as if it maybe finally sold,the guy has had a survey and paid his deposit,the survey showed a couple of problems,the main one reared its head about 4 days before the survey we werent getting full revs under load, i fitted a new fuel pump 2 years ago and 100 hrs of use and it is showing low fuel pressure so another pump is needed,the problem i have had is that there are no fuel pumps in the uk and they are quoting 3/4 weeks for delivery,so i have ordered one from nuwave marine in the states hopefully that will be here before the end of next week as the guy wants to complete,i have also got to check out the powersteering as the surveyor says there is a leak,
does anybody know if the steering rams can be re sealed or do you have to replace them,the boat has got a 6.2l mpi with a bravo 3 drive total engine hours 250 on a 7 yr old engine

Well checked the boat out its not the steering rams,it was the hose to the oil cooler for power steering fluid,i also had a leak at the water intake hose,
so it may be worth checking those hose clips periodically through the season or any hose clips for that matter
