Default Drying out saturated plywood?

Evening all,
I've dismantled the fold out table as it weighed a tonne and found the core (assumed plywood) to be saturated with rusty water as a previous owner didn't use ss screws.

Anyone successfully replaced the ply with something else? Or managed to dry it out completely??

Thanks in advance,
Aye,
Mac

There are companies that drill several hole and connect hose from which a vacuum is pulled but for a table you’re better replacing the core or the entire table.

I'd just start from scratch and replace it.

Fair doos. Anyone recommend a suitable brand or lightweight product to replace 18mm plywood, that is available in the UK? #longshot

Otherwise I'll hit up the local sailmaker/upholsterer at the marina.
