Default drink holder

I have a 01 3000 scr and while I was doing a deep scrub on the front non skid ( where the bitch pad goes ) I noticed the left end of the drink holder lose. It looks like this is held down by two sided tape but not sure what the middle support is taped or glued down ? Anybody deal with their holder. I would like to take this off, clean and glue it back on.

Um......ya.....so.........that part is not in the catalog.

When you're daughter/aughter-in-law is on the boat, do you invite them to stretch out on the 'bitch pad'?

Yes shrew that is what we call it here on my boat. And it is always with a smile that we do call it that! I sincerely apologize if it offensive to this forum. Not my intention! Just an expression that we use around these here parts.

So you think that drink holder is attached by double sided tape?

I doubt tape would have been used here as its always exposed to the elements. Can you post a picture?

Maybe 4200

Thanks Mike......I would like to take this off and use it as a template to make a teak one next to the women pad. :-)

I believe it is the same "double-sided" as the rest.
Maxum used it throughout the 3000's on most of the plastic parts (cockpit cupholders, transom trim panel over the aft lockers, etc..

Edit - Double-sided is a general reference.. To secure the transom trim, I found the closest material was a 3M product referred to as "moulding tape".

Ok buddy you're not going to be safe until you're in a padded room.

There is a chemical spy called debond that will release adhesives including 4200 and 5200

1) That was supposed to have a wacky smiley face to show the tongue-in-cheek nature of the ribbing. Funny how context can be changed with the inclusion or absence of an emoticon.

2) 3m heavy duty double-sided tape.

I'll be heading over to the marina today and see what I can come up with for you.

I believe that piece is made from Starboard. Another name is Kingboard.
