Default Drain plug

Hi all, I trailer my boat every time we go out. On my old boat we pulled the plug after every run. My new boat is much larger and the plug is threaded in. How often do you all pull the plug out of your boats to drain them?

I remove mine everytime, right before I secure the stern tow straps . It is part of my tow home checklist.

I had a bass boat years ago we put in without the plug. We ran on plane for a while until most of the water ran out and then jumped in and put the plug in. The boat had an outboard on it so there was no water damage to the engine. An inboard could have been damaged. I had a friend that had water from a bad rain storm that ruined his starter.
