difference between 1995 MAXUM 2700 SCR, 1997 MAXUM 2800 SCR

Hi my name is John nice to meet everyone in this "ZOO". I'm from Holland and looking to buy a Maxum. A friend of mine purchased a MAXUM 2800 SCR from 1997 and I have seen a nice MAXUM 2700 from 1995, I have yet seen it in pictures only but it looks identical to the MAXUM 2800 from 1997.
My question is, is it identical? Especially the HULL (size).
on some sites i read its smaller then the 2800 and on some sites i read its the same model but they changed the name after 1996 to 2800, the MAXUM 2700 has one bed and a large V-lounge after 1996.

Confused by this information I'm hoping to find the correct answer here.

welcome to the zoo...hope you have good luck with your choice...from what I understand about the 2 models is that they are pretty much identical...I think about the only difference is interior colors ...either boat would be a good ride for you.....
