Default Dehumidifiers

What are the most popular dehumidifiers out there? I thought an active (refrigeration) unit would be best while at dock. I was thinking of putting it over the sink and having it drain in there. I have looked at ones that are basically small AC units but just stumbled across this one. It is thermo electric (solid state) but I don't know how efficient it is. Anyone try anything like this?

what alot of folks do is get some of those chemicals that absorb water out of the air and drips it into a tray....works pretty well..we use dryers up here in the pacnorwest....uses convection and 110vac.....
