Default Changes

Well 2022 has some big changes for me. I’m in the process of buying a Silverton 362 with the sea trail set for Saturday. It’s a 5 hour ride from Maryland to Connecticut each way so I’m driving up Friday and staying at a B&B so I can be at the marina 9AM for the sea trail. Then drive back home. I’m have a captain bring her down the coast to my house and hope to make the trip with him if my schedule allows. This is my retirement gift to myself as I’ll be retiring at the end of the year. Hope everyone has a great season.

Good Luck with the purchase, and hope your retirement is as great as mine.
Can't figure out how I ever had time to go to work each day.

The boat is located in Deep River just inside of Eustasia Island on the Connecticut River.

Congratulations Mike on both the boat and your upcoming retirement. Hope you stick around the club to help me with my "boat" problems. I've been retired about eight years now and enjoying every minute of it.

I’m not going anywhere and will be keeping my Maxum for now.

I had to look it up. Lol. I've never been down that far on my boat. I hope you get the opportunity to go with your captain on the journey home. Looks like it would be a great ride. Good luck

The sea trail was performed last Saturday and went well, however there are 3 things not working; the generator, the toilet and the windless. The sells are having all of these fixed and I’m moving forward with the purchase. Hopefully all will be done as well as the move of her to my place by mid May.

Which is why I’m having them pay for the repairs
