Default CE Certification

Hi, we recently bought maxum boat and on the boats there’s CE marking but unfortunately we don’t have the certificate. Does anyone know what do we need to do? I assume if there’s CE marking on the boat that means we can just issue the certificate somewhere? Or do we need someone to come and do it all over again.

Thanks for all

In the USA a model gets certified by the factory and USA consumers are not required to show proof. You could try contacting Brunswick who was the parent company for Maxum before the line was shut down.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_marking

It is something required on boats sold in the EU.
