Default Carb adjustment

So when my boats engine is warm the idle seems to go to 1100 rpms, when in fact it should be at 650-700 rpms. Is this just an adjustment to the carburetor? It idles fine at lower temps? Right when it heats up it idles really high.

Help a newbie out

Default carb

it could be the cause of a vacuum leak too...first off..get a 1/2 socket and check the torque on the mounting bolts of the carb to the intake...should be about 120 inch/lbs.......or good and snug...then...after it's warmed up....see if it does it then....if not it was a vacuum leak...also check the screws to the top plate of the bowl on the carb....should check the torque on that by tightening cross pattern.....
if that works...then the last thing is to check the idle screw...should be on the right side of the carb where the linkage to the throttle is attached.......

hope this helps...
