Camper Canvas

I just purchased my 2004 Maxum 2700se. We are trying to install the camper canvas but are having trouble getting it to fit. I realize they need to stretch but is there something that shows where the poles should line up having a hard time with the sides

Same times the new canvas don't fit right like the old one.
But you can adjust the poles to fit right. Good luck.

Do this when it's 80 degrees out so everything can stretch. That might help. Trying to put this together when it's cold can be futile.

Now if that doesn't work you might invest for time with a canvas maker to see what your problem is and you go from there. Without a picture of the problem it's kind of difficult to figure it out.

Here is what we do. (Results may vary).

1) Loosen all the slides on the bimini frame.
2) Install the canvas on the frame itself.
3) Zip the isinglass to the canvas, but only zip about 6-8 inches
4) snap the isinglass to the boat.
5) Now with one person tugging the canvas and the isinglass together, have the other person zip the isinglass and canvas completely.

You'll need to tug and adjust the bimini frame and slides to give slack to the section you're working on.

6) Now tighten the bimini frames last.
