Hello Everyone,

Just bought my first boat this past weekend. Everything seems functionally OK after sea trial and inspection but have a lot of small cosmetic things to fix as well as all the basic maintenance, engines only have 380 hours on them. Look forward to reading about others experiences here.

First question is about fresh and waste water holding tanks: Maxum did not install level sensors from the factory? I am looking at installing external tank sensors. If anyone knows the location of the waste water tank and other maintenance items to look out for that would be great.

Tank level indicators were not standard from the factory. Under Documents of this site you’ll find the Mercuiser manuals for your engine and drives.

Waste and water tanks should be in the engine compartment. They are white rotomoulded, poly tanks.
