well...from what I have learned from my local blow boater...blistering is caused from moisture in the fiberglass during layup...and that moisture will eventually migrate to the gel coat and cause blistering....with that said....since maxum/bayliner has gone to the newer techniques and materials...blistering is reduced substantially .....so..there is no telling why the blistering is occuring ..but it's an easy fix....
