Default Bilge Pump Question

Hi, I have a 99 2400, If I shut the battery switch off are the bilge pumps still hot or is it wired from factory to be off with switch. Thanks for any in put

Most bilge pumps are wired direct to battery so they will work automatically even with battery switch off with a panel switch to override and turn on manually. However not sure about your model or any mods made by previous owners. You should be able to test pump with battery switch off and see if it's "hot wired".

The bilge pump floats should be directly wired to battery power. The manual switches that control them from the helm are wired through the battery switch.
