Best prop for 2300sc

Hello there to you all
I live in uk and new to owners club
Just got a 2300sc with 350 mag in it
Running alpha one drive
With a 15p prop 3 blade cast Ali
Looking to get a stainless steel
Any ideas of the best pitch to use
or any one has got the same boat

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new to you boat.

Are you happy with the current prop and does it achieve the proper WOT around 4600 - 4800 rpm?

If yes the drop by a pitch going to SS.

You can also try Mercruisers prop calculator for recommendations.

Note going to SS can cause greater damage to the drive if you strike an object as the SS will give less and the stress is transfers to the gears.

I have not used boat yet as in uk weather poor at the moment
The last owner of boat used it on a river with a 5 mph speed limit
so I think that's why it has a 15p prop
My last boat (19 sports boat with a 200 hp Mercury outboard had 3 blade S/Steel 23 p prop ) the boat was go for 62 mph on flat calm day
Just wondering if any one has the same boat

Was interested to see what you ended up doing with your prop. Ours was on the way out when we bought it, so I know it needs replaced. We have the same set up on our 2300sc.
